Elton graduated from Wellington (Texas) High School with the Class of 1934.
Survivors: wife, Nell; sons, Phillip of Dayton, Ohio, David of Chiloquin, Oregon; daughter, Martha Hymer of Newton; brothers, Eugene, Eual, both of Tulsa, E.E. Jr. of Phoenix; sister, Edith Timmons of Tulsa; six grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Memorial has been established with National Parkinson's Foundation.
