Death Takes Mrs. Pearl A. Falk McCrary
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl A. Falk McCrary, member of a pioneer Bainbridge Island family, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow in the University Lutheran Church. Entombment will be in Acacia, directed by Forkner’s Mortuary. Mrs. McCrary died Friday in a hospital after a short illness. She retired as a telephone operator for the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Co. about five years ago.
Mrs. McCrary was born at Rolling Bay, Bainbridge Island, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dona Falk. Her parents settled there in 1877.
Mrs. McCrary came to Seattle in the early 1900's. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and Greenwood Chapter No. 196, Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are a son, Jay G. McCrary, Jr. and two sisters, Mrs. Gus Janisch and Mrs. Norman LaVine, all of Seattle; two brothers, Fernando Francis Falk, Seattle, and Fillmore Falk, Everett, and two grandchildren.
