Marjorie was the eldest child of Harry and Mae (Boughton) Warner. She had a sister Ruth Mae and a brother Harold Boughton. She worked in ready to wear and was the manager of Hartleys Store in Jackson, MI. She married Gerald Reed December 15, 1942 in Angola, Indiana. They moved to Hodunk, MI. and owned the tavern for awhile and the General Store. The General Store covered everything from hardware and paint to groceries, appliances, furniture and boats,etc.
