"D"; 9/1/1861 reduced to Pvt.; 4/30/1862 enlistment extend war; 8/1/1864 promoted Cpl.; 4/3/1865 POW, Petersburg; 6/20/1865 took oath to USA; released; resided Dinwiddie County; light complexion, light hair, light eyes, 5'10"; Policeman , living Salter St., member of Pickett-Buchanan Camp, UCV , Norfolk.
