or James K. Ard, 69, of High
Hill community near Lake City
will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday
from Beulah Free Will Baptist
Church at Bazens Crossroads.
The Rev. Julius Vausc and the
Rev. Holy Powell will officate.
Burial, directed by Brockington
Funeral Home, will be in the
church cemetery.
Mr. Ard. a lifelong resident of
Florence County, died Sunday
aftermoon in a Florence hospital
after a lengthy illness.
Surviving are his widow, Janie
Hutchinson Ard, of the home; two
sons. Troy B. Ard, Florence, and
Lavoyd M. Ard, Scranton: a
daughter, Mrs. Jack L. Boswell.
Scranton: twenty grandchildren
and two great grandchildren,
Pallbearer will be Odell Poston
Albert M. Powell, Olin Powell.
Venan Poston, Mitch Benton and
George Creel.
