Mr. George Brown who for several years, kept a store at Cut Meat, was killed by lighting near his home on the border of Red Stone Basin in Pine Ridge Reservation, Wednesday Aug. 2. He was on horseback, accompanied by a son who received no injury except a temporary shock. Mr. Brown's horse was also killed.
Mr. Brown was a brother of Mrs. Gus Craven; He leaves a wife and nine children.
Children are George R Jr, Jennie L, Joseph Rooks, Rosette S, Anita Louisa, Leona
M, Calvin, Marguerite, Henrietta T and Thomas W Brown.
