Juanita Louise Miller was born on a farm in Clarke County, Iowa seven miles north of Murray, Iowa, to Percy and Edna (Luce) Miller. She was the seventh of nine children. Juanita attended LaPorte County School for the first six years and graduated from 8th grade at Brush College County School in 1948. In May 1952, she graduated from Murray High School.

After graduation, she received her first job as a telephone operator with Northwestern Bell Telephone in Winterset, IA.

Juanita was united in marriage with Johnnie Robshaw on June 20, 1953, in Peru, IA. They moved to Omaha, NE in January 1954. There she worked several different jobs including Evans Laundry, Clarkson Hospital, and worked from home for contractor, Peter Kiewit. While living in Omaha, their first four children were born.

In August of 1965, they moved to Sioux Falls so Johnnie could start a new job with DuAl Manufacturing. While in Sioux Falls, their fifth child was born. They lived in Orchard Heights for one year before moving to Valley Springs in August 1966. Here the sixth and last child was born.

Juanita worked at the Valley Springs Nursing Home for four years, Kennys Super Value in Luverne, MN, Benson Quinn in Corson, SD for 12 years, Gateway for 11 years, and Sunshine Deli in Brandon. Before becoming ill, she worked at Valley Springs Elementary Cafeteria where she was proud to be a lunch lady.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Valley Springs for many years.

Grateful for having shared her life include her six children, George Robshaw and his wife, Cindy, Sioux Falls, Loretta Egert and husband Greg, Spearfish, SD, Teresa Gehrke and husband Carl, Beaver Creek, MN, Brenda Mathers and husband Bill, Valley Springs, SD, Johnnie Robshaw and wife Carol, Sioux Falls, Robin Anderson and her husband Bob, Harrisburg; 15 grandchildren, Nick Moeller, Joel Robshaw, Tim Nath, Stephanie Jongeward, Gregory Johnson, Michelle Gibson, Anita Blank, William Mathers, Rachael Mather, Ryan Mathers, Melissa Mathers, Tara Theel, Chad Olson, Valerie Anderson, and Krystle Anderson; five great grandchildren, Kaitlin Nath, Lilly Jongeward, Maxwell Gibson, Garrett Blank, Sheveigh Mathers; three brothers, Leo Miller, California, Larry Miller, Murray, IA, Bernard Miller, Murray, IA; and one sister, Twyla Brown, St. James, MO.

Juanita was preceded in death by husband, Johnnie Robshaw on April 16, 2001; parents, three sisters, Opal Harrison, Arlene Vonree, Roberta Edwards; one brother, Donald Miller; and one grandson, Matthew Gehrke; and one nephew, Ronald Cornelison.
