Howard James Ragsdale, 79, of Bachelors Hall, VA went to be with his Lord in Danville Memorial Hospital. A native of Pittsylvania County, VA, he was the son of John Kyle Ragsdale and Hattie Turpin Ragsdale.
He was a retired carpenter and a World War I veteran.
Surving are three sisters Mrs. Hester Ragsdale Soyars, Mrs. George Ragsdale Anderson and Mrs. Tom Anderson; two brothers Hugh Clifton Ragsdale and Hartwell A Ragsdale.
Burial was in Danville Memorial Gardens.
