NILES TRENT BAGGETT, SR., age 68, of Houston, Texas, passed into eternity at his home on May 24, 2012, with his family present, a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and son.

He was born March 17, 1944 in Houston County and has resided in Houston, Texas for the past 50 years.
Rejoicing and celebrating Trent's homecoming into heaven are his beloved parents, Orville and Aldareda Baggett; brother, Orville Stanley Baggett and numerous loved ones and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Robbie Francis Baggett; son, Niles Trent Baggett, Jr.; daughters, Kaye Webster and Amie Ferrell; sisters, Arletta Roberts and Ginger Baggett; three granddaughters and numerous extended family members.

Trent served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1964 then went on to work for Enterprise products for 27 years before retiring.

God saw him getting tired, a cure was not to be,
He wrapped him in His loving arms and whispered "Come with Me",
He suffered so much in silence, his spirit did not bend,
He faced his pain with courage, until the very end,
He tried so hard to stay with us but his fight was not in vain,
God took him to His loving home and freed him from the pain.

A graveside service for Mr. Baggett will be held at Houston National Cemetery. Service day and time are pending.
