Minden- Lillie Edwards Malloy, 80, of Minden died Tuesday night at her residence after a sudden illness. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Woodard, Charles Land, and Paul Durbin officiating. Burial will be in Old Athens Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Will C. Malloy of Minden; four daughters, Dimple Volentine and Mavis Anderson, both of Shreveport, Beatrice Girlinghouse of Minden, and Mildred Baker of Houston; one sister, Blanche Blackwell of Bossier City; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
