Anna Black, 88, of Wayne, died Friday, April 4, 1986 at Providence Medical Center in Wayne.
Services were held Tuesday, April 8 at the First United Methodist Church in Wayne. The Rev. Keith Johnson officiated.
Anna Dorothy Black, the daughter of George and Carol Buettenschorn Otte, was born April 18, 1897 at Wayne. She married Otto Black on Feb. 21, 1897 at Wayne. The couple farmed northwest of Carroll until moving into Carroll in 1921, where Otto operated a trucking business and retired to Wayne in 1953. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carroll.
Survivors include two sons, Orville Black of Cheyenne, Wyo. and Frank Black of Sioux Falls, S. D.; three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Irene) Ploog and Mrs. Belter of Omaha; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Henricks of Lincoln.
Pallbearers were Rodney Better, Roger Fleshman, John Ramsey, Jere Morris, Gary Fleshman and Bill Sperry.
Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne with Schumacher Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
