Opal Myers, a homemaker for 62 years, died Friday at Mt. Diablo Medical Pavilion in Concord. She was 79.
The native of Lamar, Colo., lived in Bay Point for 30 years. She was a member of Church of Christ, Bay Point. She enjoyed crafts and needlework.
She is survived by her son, Donald Ray Myers of Ft. Bragg; daughter, Darlene Chaquette of Bay Point; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
