On Wednesday, May 30, 2012 Robert Bruce Bennetch, of Hanover, went to be "absent from the body and present with the Lord." "In His presence is fullness of joy".

Born September 21, 1932, in Millbach Springs, he was a son of the late David and Florence (Hostetter) Bennetch.

Bob was the owner of Bob Bennetch Fine Men's Clothing on Chocolate Avenue, Hershey.

He was a graduate of Schaefferstown High School and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, having served with the Land Rescue Team and as a Survival Instructor.

Surviving are his wife Barbara A. (Sandy) Bennetch; children, Cindy, wife of Roger Sample of South Carolina and Tammy Bennetch of East Berlin; brother, Rev. Frederick Bennetch of Marysville; and grandchildren, Andrew, husband of Jessie Sample and Adam Sample.

He was preceded in death by his brother, George D. Bennetch.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. on June 16, 2012, at Hanover First Church of God. Private interment, with military honors, will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
