SOUTH PORTLAND - Abbott C. Hodgdon, 73, died Saturday in his home, 46 Carver Blvd. He was born in Eliot, son of Franklin P. and Annie Hodgdon. He attended Eliot schools and Kents Hill School, Readfield. He was a self-employed carpenter. Survivors include his widow, Marie R. Hodgdon, a daughter, Mrs. Daniel H. Wilkinson, South Portland; a son Julian C. Hodgdon, Morrill; and a sister, Mrs. Alice Hillman, South Berwick. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in his home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
