The funeral for Harold George "Buddy" Adams, 55, will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with burial at Cumorah Cemetery, Coffee County.

Friends will be received tonight from 7 until 9 o'clock at Music Funeral Home.

Tributes may be flowers or memorial donations to the Satilla Gun Club, 1704 Clarke St., Waycross, Ga. 31503.

A resident of Waycross for the past 26 years, he owned and operated Security Blanket here and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Satilla Gun Club, Southeast Gun Owners, Conservative Support Group, John Birch Society.

He died Monday at Satilla Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. A Coffee County native, he was a son of the late Harold George Adams.

Surviving are his wife Judith Adams, Waycross; daughters Heather Adams Stokes, Pocatello, Idahyo, Jessica Adams Moore, Augusta; sons Nick Adams, San Diego, Calif., Mark Adams and Jon Adams, Waycross; mother, Doris Allen Reeder, Utah; sisters Judy Ann Olsen, Utah, Jeannette Whitley, Douglas; brother Barry Adams, Fairfield, Calif.; grandchildren Riley Adams, Jonathan Adams; mother-in-law Joan Howes, Waycross; several other relatives.
