"Gordon Pemberton, 85, formerly of Kansas City, died Saturday at a hospital in Milan, Mo. He was born in Howard County, Mo., and lived here from 1909 until 1952, when he moved to Marceline, Mo. He was a retired employee of the American Refrigerator Transit company and a member of the First Baptist church at Marceline. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Leila Gottschalk of Keytesville, Mo.; a son, Bernard Pemberton of Kingman, Ariz.; a brother, John Pemberton of Slater, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Argobast of 4257 East 60th terrace, Mrs. Maude Love of Seattle and Mrs. Basha Wilson of Roeland Park; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
