Beverly June Ikenberry, 83, passed away on Friday December 24, 2010 in Whittier, California. Beverly was born February 28, 1927 in Joliet, Illinois to Margaret Bruer and Louis Bruer. Beverly was raised in Yucaipa, California and was a graduate of Redlands High School.

Beverly enjoyed crossword puzzles, going to the movies, walking around zoos and Knott's Berry Farm and truly enjoyed a great meal at Sizzler's Restaurant.

For most of her married life, Beverly resided in Hacienda Heights, California. Her goal and dream was to have a great husband and children; whereas in reality her family was of utmost importance. Beverly loved her home, for her children were raised there. Beverly was a full time homemaker since Donald and she married on December 20, 1952. For many years she also maintained her position as a dispatcher within her home for her husband's business, DON IKENBERRY TRUCKING.

Beverly is lovingly survived by her husband, Donald Ikenberry, daughter: Donna Ikenbery (husband: Mike Vining), son: Don Ikenberry (wife: Yolie Gutierrez) son: David Ikenberry (wife: Laura Ikenberry) and 2 grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by two brothers, 3 sisters and her parents.

Beverly will always be loved and missed by her family and friends, including the family of Claudia Cobo Libreros, who was Beverly's caregiver for the past few years.

On June 4, 2012 they Beverly and Donald Ikenberry were both were interred into a niche at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl), Honolulu, Hawaii.
