Wesley's parents, John & Margaret Made their home in Miller County, Arkansas. on 12 Oct 1823, Bledsoe, TN, Their son, Wesley, who was devout Methodist married Methodist, Elizabeth Stephens, first born child of Isaac and Anna Davis Stephens, and moved to the Methodist haven of southwest Arkansas. Wesley was killed by an Indian attack, which was common for homesteaders during this time of settlement. ( In 1840, Elizabeth married Joel Wafer(1787-1860) and They had three children of their own: Mabry William Wafer(1842-1927), Sicily(1844-1859) & Thomas Jefferson Wafer(1849-1881))
