Beatrice E. (Worrall) Mowry, 93, of North Smithfield, died peacefully March 13 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Woonsocket, the daughter of the late Herbert S. and Flora E. (Adams) Worrall, she was a lifelong resident of North Smithfield. She was a nutritionist for the state of Rhode Island.
She also was a wonderful homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister.
She leaves a son, Robert E. Mowry Jr. of North Smithfield; three daughters, Carol A. Peabody of Ayer, Mass., and Cynthia E. Reid and Jennifer J. Mowry, both of North Smithfield; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, especially Beverly Croce, whom she spent many happy moments with. She was the mother of the late Weston B. Gifford and sister of the late Carl, Cecil, Earl, Harold, Herbert, Wallace and Doris Worrall, Ruth McKnight and Marion Aldrich.
