Mr. and Mrs. Mellon have been winter residents of Palatka for years, and had returned to their Pittsburgh home only a few days before Mrs. Mellon's last illness.
Mrs. Mellon was loved and admired by all for her unassuming manner and for her beautiful Christian character. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was active in all its enterprises.
