Ed is survived by his wife, Denice Cagney; children AnneMarie Carlin (Shawn), Stephen Cagney (Amanda), Bernadette Reeves (Eric) and Andrew Cagney (Kimberly); 15 grandchildren; brothers, Richard Cagney (Alice) and Philip Cagney (Sharon); sisters, Mary Ellen Misitigh (John), Maura Leus (Steven) and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, May 31, 2012, with a vigil service at 7 pm at Kingwood Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at 9:30 am, Friday, June 1, 2012, at Kingwood Funeral Chapel. Interment with full military honors will be at 11:30 am at Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Houston Food Bank, Sunshine Kids, Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) Caregiver Support Group or a charity of your choice.
