Harvey J Hardesty was the son of Harvey James Richard Hardesty and Dorothy Marie James.

On September 13, 2006, HARVEY J. HARDESTY, loving father of Randall and Carol; admired brother of Darlene Spurrier and her husband Rob; brother-in-law of Dave Karper, special friend of Charlotte Dell and survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the HUBBARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4107 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12 noon. Harvey J. Hardesty, 74, of Eldersburg died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at Sinai Hospital. Born Sept. 1, 1932, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Harvey and Dorothy Hardesty. He enjoyed concerts, dinner theatres and shows. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Carol and Rick Sitzka of Gainesville, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law Randall and Linda Lanman of Gainesville, Ga.; sister Darlene Spurrier of Glen Burnie; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and special friend Charlotte Dell of Westminster. A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday at Hubbard Funeral Home Inc., 4107 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore. Interment will be in Loudon Park Cemetery.
