Mabel Foster Is Dead at 71
Mrs. Mabel Foster, 71, 3001 W. 15th, died Wednesday in a Billings, Mont. hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident near there July 7.
Her husband, Mr. Thomas Foster, 75, retired owner of the Foster Furniture Co., which was located at 315 Kansas, still is in St. Vincent;s Hospital, Billings.
Also hospitalized in Billings are Don A. Yeager and his wife, Dolly, who were with the Fosters. The two couples were returning from a fishing trip when the accident occurred.
Mrs. Foster was born May 10, 1893, in Ozawkie. She had resided in Topeka most of her life.
Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Norian W. Foster, 2400 Crest Drive, and Thomas D. Foster, 2030 Pembroke Lane; and 10 grandchildren.
Services are pending. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
