Sarah came with her parents to Michigan while she was still a small child from Kanagara, New York, where she was born. Both of her parents were born at Kanagara, New York, according to her death certificate. Her parents have Wells, Montgomery County, New York.

Sarah was survived by six children all of whom were residents of Monroe County, Mi. They were: Mrs. Mary Ann Bookey, Mrs. Eva Dunphey, Mrs. Richard Murphy, Mrs. Charles Grego, Fred Clock, and John Clock. She also was survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends who mourned her loss. Funeral services were held by Rev. Mr. Perone at the United Brethren Evangelical Church. Death record has Sarah Katherine Clock.
