COLUMBUS – Craig Bell, 34, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus after a swimming accident. He was born Nov. 11, 1969, in Tupelo. He was a salesman for Premier Ford in Columbus and a member of West Jackson Street Baptist Church. He was an avid Alabama fan, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Nick Cannady will officiate, and Matt Fortner will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include his parents, Lonnie and Jean Anderson Bell of Tupelo; two brothers, Tim Bell of Tupelo and Lonnie Bell of Memphis; three sisters, Jan Eason and husband, Joseph, and Cheryl Harris, all of Tupelo, and Tracey Lindsey and husband, Milton, of Nettleton; his nephew and best friend, Justin McDaniel; two nieces, Stephanie Estes and Brittney Harris; a great-nephew, Logan Estes.
Pallbearers will be Scott Malone, Jay Jones, Bubba Franks, Robert Lovourn, Brett Burks, Clay Knight, Clay Manning, Andy Manning and Brent Cary.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Premier Ford.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to service time Friday.
