Mrs. Baker was born in Lapel, IN on August 5, 1923 to her parents, Charles and Grace Conner Barlow. She graduated from Yorktown High School, Class of 1941. She was Supervisor of the accounting department with Marsh Supermarkets for 33 years.
Mrs. Baker was a member, and avid participant in the music ministry of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene. She was a seamstress, and loved to knit and crochet.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Mahoney; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Baker; and a great-granddaughter, Lindsey Nicole Clark.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Yorktown Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Charles Pasko and Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Yorktown Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at the Gant Funeral Home, Yorktown Chapel, and one hour prior to services at the church.
