She was born October 28, 1920 in Batesville, Mississippi to the late Jesse Livingston and Augusta (Cox) Hays. She graduated from Charleston High School in 1939 in Charleston, Mississippi, and attended Northwest Junior College in Senatobia, Mississippi. She was a homemaker, owned Kathy's Baby Shop, and formerly attended Asbury United Methodist Church in Magnolia.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Circuit Court Judge Harry A. Crumpler.
She is survived by three sons, Leonard Lee "Dick" Dickinson III and wife Ann of Birmingham, Alabama, Jess Hays Dickinson and wife Janet of Gulfport, Mississippi, Harry A. Crumpler, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Petal, Mississippi; two daughters, Kathleen Warnock Crumpler Thurman of Brandon, Mississippi, Laura Ann Crumpler Andrews and husband Bobby of Jachin, Alabama; one sister, Sarah Shelton of Jackson, Mississippi; twelve grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Magnolia City Cemetery with Rev. Love Loftis officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Family visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
