James A Kortright, 78, 510 W Main St., died this morning at Reid Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
He had lived most of his life in Richmond, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He retired in 1973 from Alcoa and also was a former employee of Belden Manufacturing Co.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; one daughter, Nancy Sue Kortright of Brownsburg; one stepson, Ronald E Gray of Palm Bay, Fla.; two half brothers, Richard White of Richmond, and Paul White of Danville, Ill.; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for James A Kortright will be announced by Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home.
