Milly L Hofer

Richmond, Ind.- Milly L Hofer, age 78, of Richmond, Ind. died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Oakridge Rehabilitation.

Born Oct. 1, 1928 in Connersville, Ind. to James W and Ethel F Manis Hoover. Milly was a resident of Richmond for most of her life.

She was a member of Ravina Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Larry E Hofer of San Diego, Calif., William F, Michael L, and Robert R Hofer, all of Richmond; daughter Tina D Doty of College Corner, Ind; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Pauline Brockman of Fort Collins, Colo.; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford E Hofer, who died in 2002; Darlene J. Hofer; son, Thomas Edward Hofer; brother, Robert J Hoover; and three sisters, Ruth May Wilson, Shirley Plummer and Betty Jane Ramey.

Funeral service for Milly L Hofer will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 19,2007, at Ravina Park Baptist Church, 3015 S. B St., Richmond, with Rev Charles McMahan Jr officiating. Burial will be in Chester Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the church.

Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road W, Richmond, is in charge of arrangements.



Milly's grandparents were Frank Hoover and Luella Pickett Hoover Chant, and Lester Mannis and Cora Gibson Manis Wylie.
Her step grandparents were Arthur Chant and Kenneth "Scottie" Wylie and Augusta Mannis.

Milly was named after her great grandmother Milly Matthews Gibson.
