I believe that the "mother Massow" in the Kansas Cemetary is Julia Chafin Massow. Her husband would have been Ewald Massow., and she had a daughter, Clara. I have been tracking thie son of my ancesto, Ewald Massow. Ewald was listed with his wife and daughter in the 1880 census as a cigar maker. The woman "mother Massow" died October 11, 1898. In November of 1898, an ad was placed in a National cigar maker magazine searching for Ewald Massow, with "important news and death", requesting Ewald contact someone. In the 1900 census, he was listed as widower, and cigar maker.
