She married Arthur H. Kreie on June 14, 1950
at Sharon Springs. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1954. She married Samuel L. Hursh on April 7, 1969 at Bison. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1986. Samuel was born 26 March 1923 and died 7 April 1986 Lincoln, Nebraska.
She was a long time resident of Hoisington coming from Lincoln, Neb. She worked for Miller-Paine, was a retired kitchen aid for the Lincoln General Hospital in Lincoln, and was a caregiver to children in their home.
Mrs. Hursh was a member of the Salvation Army, Life member of DAVA #7, National Order of Alley Cats #334, American Legion Auxiliary #342, all of Lincoln, and was a 50 year member of Silver Leaf #464 in Hutchinson.
Survivors include one brother Ned Crotinger of Alexandria, Ind.; two sisters Beth Schneider and Fern Axman both of Great Bend; eight stepchildren; ten step grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at
Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington with the Rev. Ultan Murphy presiding. Burial will be at Locust Hills Cemetery, Rush Center. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
