Mary Olie Shofner Wright, 84 of Campbellsville, died Sunday January 29, 1984, at the Taylor County Hospital after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Shofner in 1976. She then married Johnie Clayton Wright who also preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Oscar Shofner, Eddie Shofner, both of Campbellsville. Mrs. Anna Roots of Campbellsville. Five step-daughters, Barbara Graham, Nancy Gilpin, Linda Thompson, Cathline Beams, Thelma Hash, all of Campbellsville. One sister , Lizzie Lacy of Campbellsville, and three half- sisters, Lula Carola of Louisville , Mamie Underwood of Campbellsville, and Sadie Hall of Edmonton. Also three half-brothers : Willie, Charles, and Johnny Sprowles all of Campbellsville. Funeral services was Tuesday, January 31, at the Lyon Funeral Home with burial in the Saloma Cemetery. The Rev. Ralph Boils officiated. Pallbearers were : Bobby , Larry, Daryl, and Dale Shofner, and Donnie and Tommy Roots.
