Carlisle, Pa., April 22 -- Elmer Allison Yeatts, 53 years old, died last night at his home in East Louther street following an illness of six weeks. He was in the insurance business as a representative of the Baltimore Life Insurance Company and in later years was employed in the music stores of N.O. Eckels and J. H. Troup.
He ws a member of the Grace United Brethren church and was superintendent of the Sunday School for twenty-five years. He was allied with the Order of Independent Americans and the Knights of the Golden Eagle.
He is survived by his wife, a son, Bruce, of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy, of Carlisle; a brother, Allen Yeatts, of Hagerstown, Md., and a sister, Mrs. William F. Sipe, of Waynesboro.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Grace United Brethren church with his pastor, the Rev. I. S. Ernst, officiating. Burial will be made in the Westminster cemetery.
