Mr. Matson died Tuesday afternoon at Ball Hospital after a three weeks' illness.
A resident of Muncie 13 years, he was born in Ellettsville, Ind. He was employed for five years at Ball Brothers where he was a member of the T.P.A. foreman's group and a non-active member of the I.A.N. He also belonged to the Moose Lodge and the Elletsville Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; two daughters, Mrs. Dana Satterfield of Muncie, and Mrs. Clyde Perry of Indianapolis; two brothers, Harry and Raymond Matson, both of Ellettsville; a sister, Mrs. Roy Stangler of Detroit, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
