Katherine Elizabeth Allacher, the daughter of John and Mary (Schlichtemeier) Bilhorn, was born on a farm eleven miles northwest of Crete on July 24, 1904 and passed away at her home February 4, 1974 in Lincoln at the age of 69 years.

She grew up on the farm attending rural schools near her home and graduated from Crete High School with the class of 1923.

She was baptized in December 1904 by the Rev. G.A. Kantzler of the United Church of Christ at West Blue. She was confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church at Kramer by the Rev. Albert Cholcher.

On June 5, 1931 she was united in marriage to Victor Allacher of Kramer. For many years the family home was at 1500 Smith Street in Lincoln where Mr. Allacher was recently retired from the Lincoln Post Office.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Donald Romisch (Carol) of Lincoln, Mrs. Gary Rodgers (Rosemary) of Alexandria, Virginia, two grandsons, two granddaughters, two brothers, Walter Bilhorn of Crete, Carl Bilhorn of South Gate, California, one sister, Mrs. Florence Eisele of Kimball, Nebraska. One brother, Benj. Bilhorn, preceded her in death in 1948.

Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lincoln with burial at Lincoln Memorial Park.
