Mrs. Janice Davis McNeill age 84, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 13, 2011. She was born on May 24, 1926 in Irwin County Georgia to the late Abel and Louise Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Carroll L. McNeill. She is survived by two daughters; Brenda Bailey [Henry] and Lou Harper [Jerry]; one son, Brian McNeill [Cindy]; eight grandchildren, Eddie Murray, Caty Murray, Jessica Barber, Ben Lott, Brett McNeill, Austin McNeill, Justin McNeill and Jennifer Teton; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 11am at the First United Methodist Church with the burial in the Dixie Mausoleum in the Douglas City Cemetery.
Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
