KENTON, March 11 - Services for Mrs. Mary Ann Calvin, 94, one of the oldest residents of Forest, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lulu Nye, late Friday after a brief illness, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the home where she died, with Rev. V. Hainen, pastor of the Forest Methodist Episcopal church, in charge. Burial will be in Patterson cemetery.
Mrs. Calvin succumbed to an illness of pneumonia. She was born in Hancock-co on Sept. 30, 1844 and had lived in the vicinity of Forest all her life. She was the daughter of Nathanial and Rhoda Shaffer Miller. She was also a member of the Forest Baptist church and was married to Stephen Calvin, who died 30 years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, one of which is Mrs. Martha Asire of Lima, two sisters, two half-brothers.
