Deacon Gadison was the son of the late Deacon Otis and Deaconess JLena McKinnon Gadison. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Wendell, N.C. and served as follow: Usher Board, Trustee Board, Laymen's League, Male Chorus, Financial Advisor and Deacon Board. He received his education in the Wake County Public Schools. He was active member of the Masonic Lodge #255. His loving wife, Geraldine Austin Merritt Gadison; one brother, Otis Gadison, Jr.(Martha) of Raleigh, N.C; six sisters, Adele Underwood, Dorothy Robertson(Leon), Janie Young(Robert) and Marjorie Gadison all of Raleigh, NC, Rose Allen(Connie) of Wendell, NC and Elgie Woodyard(James)of Philadelphia, Pennysylvania.
