Amelia Rose Gannon, 88, of Memphis passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 at her home. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. Mrs. Gannon, the widow of John E. Gannon, is survived by a son, John Michael Gannon of Memphis; daughter and son in law, Pat and Greg Hadaway of Byhalia, MS; two grandchildren, Rachel Proctor and Nicholas Hadaway; and two great grandchildren, Kaylie and Alyssa. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Gannon. Mass will be said at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 29 at St. James Catholic Church with a short visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Memphis National Cemetery, next to her husband.
