He was my great grandpa.

Edwin Edson Bradley was born on April 5, 1885 in Allegan County, Michigan to David Bradley and Luna (Carpenter) Bradley.

Though his father and grandfather were farmers, he chose to work the saw mills.

He married Ethel V. Bates on April 5, 1911 in Wexford County, Michigan and together they had three children, David Leroy (Roy) (1911 - 1918), Edwin Larue and James Kendall Bradley. Things did not work out and the marriage ended in Divorce.

On June 17, 1920 in Mancelona, Michigan he married Hazel Cora (Kessler) Gardner, the widow of Floyd Gardner. This marriage worked out much better for him and they were married 34 years until she passed. He also became the step father to Floyd Emery, Alice Lee, Walter, Donald Furman, Lyle Franklin, and Lawrence Gardner.

After Hazel's death he married a woman named Esther but I know very little about her.

I hear he was also a mighty fine fiddle player too and would play while his grandson "Mike" Bradley would back him up on guitar.

He died May 15, 1976 in Mancelona, Michigan at the age of 91.
