Charles was a loving, quiet, gentle man who was dedicated to his family, friends and church. Charles just celebrated his 60th anniversary of marriage to Dixie 3 months prior to his death. He was always available any time day or night to help anyone who called him. He showed the love of God in his speech and in his every day life. His family misses him greatly but he is in heaven without anymore pain. Charles thought of his family even with the pain of bone cancer, waiting for all the family to be with him, and passing to his reward peacefully, looking toward heaven and at the end there was a sparkle in his eye and a smile on his face.
