George Carson, well known and highly respected among the people of this community, died at his home in South Main street, Saturday evening, at 11:15 o'clock after a lingering illness. Mr. Carson was the son of the late William Carson and Eliza Holloran Carson.
He is survived by his wife, the former Jane M. Wolfe, of Greenwich, and four sisters, Mrs. Michael Sheehan of Stillwater, Mrs. Michael Fillburn of Ilion, Mrs. Elizabeth Murphy of Troy, and Mrs. James Niland of Mechanicville, and three brothers, Frank Carson of Stillwater, and Charles and William Carson of Little Falls. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock at the late residence and at 9:30 at St. Peter's church. Burial will be in the Greenwich cemetery.
