Mrs Evelyn Louise Childs Hacker, 58, 3127 E. Fifth St., died early this morning at her home after an extended illness. A native and lifetime resident of Anderson, she retired in 1960 from Delco Remy Division with a disability retirement after 27 years of service there. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary..
Surviving are the husband, Kenneth: a stepdaughter, Mrs Barbara Coon, Anderson; a sister, Mary Catherine Lawson, Anderson and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Harold Rozelle Funeral Home with the Rev. Lewis Westenbarger officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery
