"Ephraim Foltz
Ephraim E. Foltz, eighty-three, Brownstown, died at St. Joseph's Hospital at 3:34 p. m. Monday several hours after he had undergone an operation for a gall bladder condition. He had been admitted to the hospital at 10:25 a. m. Monday.
A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abram Foltz, he was a miller by trade, and spent much times outdoors. Surviving are these children: Emma, wife of Ira Wenger Bareville R1; Abram and Earl, both of Lititz; Anna, wife of George Spotts, at whose home he resided for the past eight years; Alvin and Luella, wife of Harold Ream, both of Ephrata R2. Twenty-five grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Stauffer, Shilington, also survive.
Services will be held this afternoon at 2 P. M. in the Rothsville Lutheran Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery."
