A Mass of Christian Burial for Anthony Wendell Winegeart will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 28, 2012 at St. Rita Catholic Church with Rev. Craig Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Burroughs Cemetery, Gardner, under the direction of John Kramer & Son.

Anthony Wendell Winegeart, 44, of Boyce, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Leroy Winegeart; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Annie Stracner; and paternal grandparents, Carness Winegeart and Juanita Ronsonet.

Anthony was passionate about his work as a Millwright. He also enjoyed repairing and collecting old guns.

Mr. Winegeart is survived by his wife, Stephanie Renee Rozas Winegeart; one son, Justin Murphy; three daughters, Emily, Sarah, and Lauren Winegeart; parents, Thomas and Lynda Winegeart of Gardner; brothers; Russell Winegeart and wife Lorie of Flint, Texas, Kevin Winegeart of Gardner; three nephews and two nieces.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2012 and from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 28, 2012 at John Kramer & Son. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
