Emil J. Langer, 67 a lifelong resident of Oak Grove, died Sunday following a brief illness, death being attributed to a stroke. He had only been confined to the hospital only three days.
Born in Oak Grove township 76 years ago, Mr. Langer had made his home there ever since. Surviving are his wife and two sons, Richard and Albert, and three brothers John of Ellsworth, and Frank and Ed of Minneapolis.
Funeral services took place Wednesday from the Big River Catholic Church and interment was at the church cemetery.
