Jacob E. Stevens and Elizabeth Suffle were married August 13, 1873, Clay county, Indiana.

To this union three children were born: Rosa, Enos and Flossie.

Clay County Man Died at Indianapolis.
Brazil, Ind., July 24-Gazette special.

The body of Jacob E. Stevens was shipped here today from the Central Hospital, Indianapolis, where he died Monday. Stevens was committed to the institution something over a year ago, from Washington township, having been born and raised near Bowling Green where he owned a farm. He was 51 years of age, and the youngest of a family of seventeen children. He leaves a family of several children, he and his wife having separated sometime before he was adjudged insane.
