Funeral services for John Thomas Tollett, 46, son of the late Elijah G and Annie Snodgrass Tollett, were held Tuesday, February 28 at 2 p.m. at Bilbrey Funeral Home with Rev Connor R Lundy, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating.
Mr. Tollett passed away at the family home here about 6 p.m. Sunday, February 26. Interment took place in the City cemetery.
Surviving are 3 brothers; Carlisle S, E G Jr and Theodore R; 3 sisters, Mrs. Tom Cowan, who had been caring for him for many months, Miss Virginia Tollett and Mrs Lyda Hamby of Nashville.
His family was the 3rd in this family in less than 2 years time, the others being his mother and his brother Paul.
