She was a member of Landmark Church of Christ, . Vera loved sewing and antique shopping. She and Irving were married for 66 years and she was a loving wife and mother. She was very nurturing to her family and friends.
Surviving are Husband, Irving W. Eggert of Kaufman, TX, Son, Norman & Mary Kathryn Smith of Charlotte, NC, Daughter, Nita & Jim Looney of Conway, AR, Son, Irving Wendell Eggert Jr. of Denver, CO, 6 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, M.H. Hillyard & Bill Hillyard.
Pallbearers are Ray Looney, Dan Looney, John Looney, Wade Ivey, Steve Floyd, Don Smith.
