Ursula was born in Katzbach, Canton Berne, Switzerland. Her Mennonite parents were Hartmann "Martin" Hunsaker and Anna Katharina Stirtz (b.Abt1696, d.1738). Her parents were both born in Switzerland and are buried in the Greendale Cemetery, Masontown, Fayette Co., PA.

She married Benjamin Witmer Landis about 1752 and they had a daughter in 1753 they named Anna Landis. But NOT the Rev Benjamin Witmer Landis (b.1697, d.1781).

After Benjamin died Ursula married a "R. Kopf". Where she is buried is unknown. Many suggest she died on June 8, 1768 but this must be wrong because she married Mr Kopf after her husband (Mr Landis) died during 1781; so many conclude that she died sometime after 1781.
